On behalf of the City of Austin and the Advancing America Foundation, the University of Texas Division of Diversity & Community Engagement invites community leaders in health and education to participate in an interactive discussion of the impact a healthy and active lifestyle can have on students’ academic performance.

The 2013 Move Learn Excel Summit will convene 100 elected officials, educators, nonprofit directors, policy advocates and community leaders to discuss the latest research on current health trends and the importance of physical activity from infancy through adolescence. Presentations will define specific actions each organization can take to promote health and fitness initiatives for all children in Central Texas.

Parking will be validated from the San Jacinto Garage and the Manor Garage. Please make sure to bring your parking ticket with you to be validated at Registration.
Please enter DKR Memorial Stadium through Gate 16 located in the Red Zone facing E. 23rd Street. Once inside the lobby, please make an immediate LEFT into the Stark Center. Take the elevator to the 8th floor to enter the Touchdown Club.
